JKKESMAS: Jurnal Kinesiologi dan Kesehatan Masyarakat is a peer-reviewed, open-access journal dedicated to publishing high-quality, original research that integrates human movement, sports, and community well-being. The journal serves as a dynamic platform for academics, researchers, physical educators, and health practitioners to share innovative findings and evidence-based practices that advance human performance and public health.
Focus and Scope
JKKESMAS welcomes original research articles, systematic reviews, and meta-analyses. The journal covers four core pillars:
  • Physical Education: Innovative teaching methodologies, curriculum development, motor learning, pedagogical approaches, and the psychological aspects of physical education in school and community settings.
  • Sports Science: Comprehensive studies in sports biomechanics, exercise physiology, sports nutrition, athletic training, injury prevention, and performance enhancement for athletes.
  • Public Health: Community-based health promotion, epidemiology of physical activity, health interventions, disease prevention through active living, and occupational health and ergonomics.
  • Recreation: Management and sociology of leisure studies, outdoor education, community recreational sports, and the role of active recreation in improving mental and physical quality of life.

JKKESMAS is published four times a year in January, April, July and October / quarterly.
